Sh**ting Stars" (Korean: 별똥별; RR: Byeolttongbyeol) is a South Korean TV series that aired in 2022. The series features Lee Sung-kyung, Kim Young-dae, Yoon Jong-hoon, Kim Yoon-hye, Lee Jung-shin, and Park So-jin. It premiered on tvN on April 22, 2022, with a total of 16 episodes airing every Friday and Saturday at 22:40 (KST). The series is also available for streaming on iQIYI in select regions.

Synopsis


This is a story about how celebrities are like stars in the sky, but they don't shine alone. Many people behind the scenes shed blood, sweat, and tears to make them shine. These are the unsung heroes who clean up after the celebrities' mess, each with their own unique role in making the star's light shine brighter.

Lee Sung-Kyung plays Oh Han-byul, the head of public relations, crisis response, and communication departments at Star Force Entertainment. She is highly skilled in crisis management and has exceptional communication skills, making her a dominant figure in the industry. 


Kim Young-dae stars as Gong Tae-sung, a top actor at Star Force Entertainment who is loved by the public for his angelic smile and upright image. However, he has a scarred past that is unknown to the public. Moon Seong-hyun portrays the teenage version of Gong Tae-sung. 


Yoon Jong-hoon plays Kang Yu-sung, a manager at Star Force Entertainment who is often mistaken for a celebrity due to his good looks and manners. Kim Yoon-hye plays Park Ho-young, a former Taekwondo player turned manager. 


Lee Jung-shin plays Do Soo-hyuk, a corporation lawyer and consultant for Star Force Entertainment. Finally, Park So-jin plays Jo Ki-bum, a close friend of Oh Han-byul and an entertainment reporter.

  • Star Force Entertainment features in the cast of characters with Ha Do-kwon as Choi Ji-hoon, the director of the entertainment company. Jang Hee-ryung plays Baek Da-hye, an actress under Star Force and a fan of Gong Tae-sung, with whom she stars in the drama "The World of Stars" as the female lead. 


  • Lee Han-ik portrays Kang Min-kyu, who was Tae-sung's new manager but later quits due to his inability to deal with Tae-sung's personality, joining DS actors instead. Jin Ho-eun plays Byun Jeong-yeol, the new manager under Star Force Entertainment, who takes over Tae-sung's management after Kang Min-kyu and works with him with respect and pride. 


  • Shin Hyun-Seung plays Yoon Jae-hyun, a rookie actor under Star Force, who plays a supporting role in "The World of Stars." Kwon Han-sol portrays Hong Bo-in, the youngest member of Star Force Entertainment's PR team, a new employee who makes many mistakes. Yoon Sang-Jeong appears as Chae Eun-soo, a member of the PR team of Star Force Entertainment. 


  • Im Sung-kyun portrays Lee Yoon-woo, an actor under Star Force Entertainment and a close friend of Tae-sung since his trainee days. Jang Do-ha plays Jang Seok-woo, an actor under Star Force Entertainment known for causing many dating rumors and causing trouble.
